Most of us, at some stage in our lives, have to cope with the death of a relative or someone dear to us. The choice of a final resting-place can be an important decision. An increasing number of people feel dissatisfied with the formality of traditional cemeteries and would prefer a more natural alternative.

The Natural Burial Company has two burial grounds, one at Prestwold, near to Loughborough, and at Scraptoft, east of Leicester. Visitors are welcome at anytime to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of either site and to watch the developing wildlife habitats. We hope that in choosing either of these sites, your visits will provide you with a time and place for reflection and bring comfort to you, and your relatives, in the future. You will also be helping to improve the Leicestershire environment in general and local wildlife in particular.
